The Reebok G-Unit G6 is making its return, bringing back the original colorway of the tennis-inspired silhouette for the first time since its 2003 debut.
Created as part of 50 Cent’s early partnership with Reebok, the G6 became one of the defining sneakers from the rapper’s G-Unit era. Positioned right alongside Jay-Z’s S. Carter collection as a premier rapper-backed sneaker, the G6 launched in the early 2000s alongside G-Unit’s rise in hip-hop, with 50 Cent and the group helping Reebok connect its classic sportswear aesthetic with a new generation of music fans. The partnership eventually expanded into a broader G-Unit footwear and apparel line, making the G6 an important piece of the era.
Now, more than two decades later, Reebok is bringing the G6 back in its original form. The 2026 release carries over the details from the 2003 model, including a premium grain leather upper, light grey suede overlay, and crisp white polyurethane midsole. An embroidered G-Unit script lands on the heel, while the tri-color lace dubrae proudly calls out the G6, just as it did on the original.
The return comes as part of Reebok’s continued look back at its archive, giving longtime G-Unit fans a chance to revisit a sneaker that hasn’t been seen on shelves in more than 20 years. In related news, the brand also recently brought back the Board Flip from its partnership with Pharrell Williams and NIGO’s ICECREAM of the same era.
