AWAKE NY’s Angelo Basque and Reebok have selected not one, but two silhouettes to revamp in continuation of their growing partnership, following up their initial collaborative collection released in 2020. The Club C and Classic Leather are the chosen pairs undergoing the upgrade and will see a clever execution of snakeskin accents.
Both silhouettes interestingly take on the same creative decisions with placement of branding and color scheme. AWAKE NY’s signature script and Reebok’s blocked logo is found throughout the midfoot, tongue and heel in recognizable blue tone. The font breaks the universally fashionable cream-toned upper, along with the hits of snakeskin along the midfoot which sit as overlays.
The AWAKE NY x Reebok Club C and Classic Leather will likely drop in the coming weeks on the Reebok webstore, though an exact release date is unclear. Take a look at both iterations below and stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for release updates.
