With ALD-founder Teddy Santis now the head of New Balance MADE in USA, we can expect plenty of Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance drops in the foreseeable future. The latest NB project from the Queens-based fashion label is two colorways of the New Balance 993.
First spotted in the ALD FW21 campaign, the Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 993s feature pig suede overlays, mesh underlays, ABZORB midsoles, and rubber outsoles. Minimal ALD branding is applied, found only on the insoles and heels. The colorways offered come in cream and blue with hints of purple and a “Beef & Broccoli” brown with green.
