CDG x Nike Air Foamposite One “Olympic” Drops This Week

Original Story (07/02/24): Originally released in 2021 in two colorways, the COMME des GARÇONS x Nike Air Foamposite One is back in 2024 with a special “Olympic” twist.

This new iteration of the CDG Foamposite features the same 3D ripple pattern on its foam shell upper, though this time covered in a marbled black and white pattern. Black leather construction is used on the eyelets and heel, matching the black outsole underfoot. COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS branding is found on the back of the heel.

The Olympic-themed twist is found on the heel pull tab, which comes adorned with bronze, silver, and gold stripes, representing the medals awarded at the Olympic podium.

The CDG x Nike Air Foamposite One “Olympic” is slated to arrive this summer, dropping on SNKRS and at select retailers. Grab a first look below and stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates.

Update (07/16/24): Dover Street Market has announced a July 19th release for the CDG x Nike Air Foamposite One. The accompanying campaign features athlete and trainer Claire Prince, photographed in New York City by Anthony Geathers.
