Last week, images of some new colorways of BAPE’s SK8 STA surfaced, rumored to be releasing throughout 2021. It appears this is not the only footwear model that the Japanese brand will be launching in the new year, as a new model called the COURT STA has now surfaced.
Similar to how the SK8 STA is a play on the Nike Dunk, the COURT STA draws its inspiration from the Air Jordan 1. Revealed in a “Shadow”-like colorway, the COURT STA features a black and grey leather upper with a debossed camo pattern on the overlays. BAPE’s star-shaped STA logo replaces the Swoosh, with additional BAPE branding found on the tongue tag, heel, and midsole. Two low-top variants have also surfaced, one dressed in a cream, purple, and dark grey color scheme, the other in white and grey.
