A Ma Maniére has officially unveiled its new Edgewood flagship in Atlanta, introducing the brand’s most ambitious retail concept to date. Located in the city’s historic Old Fourth Ward neighborhood, the 23,000-square-foot, six-story space expands far beyond the framework of a traditional boutique, blending luxury retail, hospitality, dining, and cultural programming into a single immersive environment.
Described by the brand as a destination designed to “blur the lines between luxury shopping, hospitality, dining, and culture,” the new flagship reflects The Whitaker Group’s continued focus on intentional storytelling and elevated experiences rooted in Black culture and community. More than simply a retail store, the Edgewood location has been conceived as a long-term cultural hub centered around ownership, legacy, and experiential luxury through a distinctly Black cultural lens.
Inside, the flagship is divided into multiple environments, each designed with its own atmosphere and function. The retail component, referred to as the A Ma Maniére Maison, draws inspiration from the structure of a luxury fashion house, emphasizing curation and sensory experience over conventional storefront design. Above the retail floor are the brand’s Living Suites, hospitality-focused accommodations designed as immersive luxury spaces. Each suite — The Morrison, The Hurston, The Baldwin, The Simone and The King — pays tribute to influential Black cultural figures while offering guests a distinct aesthetic experience.
One of the standout elements of the new flagship is its rooftop space, which features a massive FLYBOY sculpture by Hebru Brantley overlooking the Atlanta skyline. The rooftop serves as both a visual centerpiece and gathering space, pairing panoramic city views with one of Brantley’s most recognizable characters — further reinforcing the flagship’s emphasis on art, culture, and immersive storytelling throughout the entire property.
Additional spaces within the flagship include The Galerie, a gathering-focused environment intended for conversation, programming, and community engagement, alongside The Reserve, a culinary concept integrating food and beverage into the larger A Ma Maniére ecosystem. Together, the spaces reflect the brand’s vision of creating a total-environment flagship where fashion, design, art and hospitality coexist under one roof.
The new A Ma Maniére Atlanta flagship opens May 21st, located at 479 Edgewood Ave SE. Check out the photos below.
