adidas Trae Young 1 “ICEE” Colorways Launching October 1st

Original Story (06/17/21): Atlanta Hawks guard and adidas athlete Trae Young has his first signature basketball sneaker dropping under the Three Stripes. He’s been balling out of control in the Trae Young 1 this postseason, debuting a few colorways on the court along the way. To go along with his “Ice Trae” nickname, the Trae Young 1 will be releasing in a couple ICEE-themed colorways.

Matching the color palette of the frozen beverage, one of the ICEE Trae Young 1s has an ice blue mesh upper and rubber outsole, with hits of red on the on the midsole and eyelets. ICEE’s polar bear mascot appears on the heels, while Young’s number 11 is iced out on the insoles. The second ICEE Trae Young 1 further pays tribute to the frozen drink brand with a mesh pink and light blue upper, a cream colored outsole, BOOST midsole and ICEE cup graphics on the heels and outsoles.

Update (08/28/21): According to Trae’s father Rayford Young on Twitter, these are launching on October 1st. Accompanying apparel includes a tee and sweatsuit.
