Kanye’s recent Twitter sprees have caused quite a few controversies for many good reasons. In a blink-and-you-miss-it moment, however, the hip-hop and design legend posted pictures of two sample YEEZY Foam shoes that seem to be in relatively early prototype and design stages.
The first model appears to be a white high-top boot with an exaggerated midsole. The shoe uses the same organic, porous design language seen on the YEEZY Foam Runner released earlier this year, and the screenshot showing the shoes implies that the boot was 3D-printed at the YEEZY lab in Cody, Wyoming. The second model, on the other hand, appears to be a foam mid-top runner printed in an olive/desert green colorway. The top of the model is not visible in the photo, but the lateral side of the shoe features rippling oval cutouts similar to that of the initial Foam Runner. It’s not clear if the shoe is closed-toe, a sandal, or a follow-up to the initial Foam Runner model, but it does seem to be a relatively low-rise model compared to the other teased boot.
There’s no more information on either teased YEEZY Foam model thus far, but you can take a look at the pictures posted by Kanye down below (as well as our cropped pictures of each model.) As always, stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates.
