Air Jordan 1 High OG “Chicago Reimagined” Dropping in November

Original Story (06/02/22): Reports of a “Chicago Reimagined” colorway of the Air Jordan 1 High OG have been circulating since early March. We now have a sneak peek at what the shoe will look like.

Newly revealed images show the “Chicago Reimagined” Air Jordan 1 comes in the OG “Chicago” color blocking, though there are some textural updates. The white leather upper features a cracked texture, as does the black ankle collar area. We’ve seen similar cracking on the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Visionaire” and “Grey Fog.” The black Swoosh and the red overlays, however, are kept smooth. The nylon tongue comes in a natural Muslin hue. Rounding out the design is Sail midsoles and dusty red outsoles.

The Air Jordan 1 High OG “Chicago Reimagined” kicks of a new era for the Air Jordan 1 High OG. Every AJ1 High OG from this release going forward will feature an updated shape. The most significant changes are the shape of the toe box and the bigger Swoosh. Overall, the AJ1 will now have a shape closer to the ’94 retros than to the OG ’85s. The retail price moving forward has also been updated, from $170 to $180 USD.
