Original Story (03/08/22): The long-rumored “Yellow Toe” colorway of the Air Jordan 1 has been requested by fans for years. Ever since the F&F Shinedown pair hit the Internet, the masses have been eagerly awaiting a public release in this color scheme. It looks like Jordan Brand is finally caving in, as the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Taxi” is now set to release this year.
The Air Jordan 1 “Taxi” features a classic “Black Toe” color blocking, seen on previous releases such as the “Shattered Backboard” Air Jordan 1. White leather dresses the quarter panels, black leather is used for the toe overlay, eyelets, Swoosh, and ankle collar, while the toe box and rear overlays come dressed in a taxi cab yellow. This shade of yellow may be darker than what fans were hoping for, but beggars can’t be choosers.
