Original Story (11/27/24): A special release of the Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Chicago” appears to be on the way as part of Jordan Brand’s 40th anniversary celebration.
As first reported by Sneaker Market RO, Jordan Brand will be dropping an Air Jordan 1 Low OG in the classic Bulls colors of Black and Varsity Red. This release is speculated to be a special retro version of the Air Jordan 1 Low in the classic “Chicago” colorway from the original 1985 AJ1 High lineup.
Jordan Brand first introduced the Air Jordan 1 Low “Chicago” in 2016 as part of Jordan Brand’s 30th anniversary celebration. Now that the Jumpman is turning 40, we can expect a new iteration for 2025.
The Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Chicago” is expected to drop as part of Jordan Brand’s Holiday 2025 Retro lineup on SNKRS and at select retailers. Stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates as we learn more about this release.
Update (12/9/24): The Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Chicago” will be returning Holiday 2025, as confirmed by zSneakerHeadz and Sneaker Files. However, this is a different SKU than the initially reported Fall 2025 “Black/Muslin-Varsity Red” release.
