Original Story (06/10/20): In 1995, Michael Jordan debuted the Air Jordan 11 during a playoff game against the Orlando Magic. The “Concord” colorway that MJ debuted hit retailers that holiday season. A new colorway of the Air Jordan 11 is now slated to arrive this year to help celebrate the model’s 25th anniversary.
Not to be confused with 2010’s Air Jordan 11 “Silver Anniversary,” this 25th anniversary colorway comes in mostly black with some clear and metallic accents. The shoe sits atop a white midsole and translucent outsole, while the upper is constructed from black patent leather and premium mesh.
While many were anticipating the return of the “Cool Grey” or “OG Columbia” Jordan 11s this year, it looks like this is the colorway that we are getting instead. Grab a first look below and expect a December 12th release date. Stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates.
