Original Story (02/01/22): There has been a lot of speculation about what this year’s Air Jordan 11 release will be. Following the return of the Air Jordan 11 “Cool Grey” in 2021, many theorized that next up would be a return of the 2013 “Gamma” colorway. That will not be the case.
The 2022 Air Jordan 11 will be the long-awaited “Cherry” colorway. These originally dropped as Lows back in 2001, which were then retrod in 2016. For the first time ever, the “Cherry” colorway will come in standard AJ11 mid-top form. Expect the 2022 release to feature a white mesh upper, a cherry red patent leather mudguard, a white midsole, and a translucent outsole.
The Air Jordan 11 “Cherry” is expected to drop this holiday season on SNKRS and at select retailers. Stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for first look photos and additional updates.
