Jordan Brand is dropping a new colorway of the Air Jordan 12 dressed in Milwaukee Bucks colors, celebrating the “Idols Become Rivals” relationship between Michael Jordan and Ray Allen.

The “Bucks” Air Jordan 12 features a white leather upper with a green textured mudguard and purple accents on the heel tabs and tongue embroidery. The shoe also features iridescent details on the Jumpman-branded shank plate and the metallic eyelets. The colorway is reminiscent of Ray Allen’s PE that he wore during his time with the Bucks in the early 2000s.

As first reported by zSneakerHeadz and Sneaker Files, this pair is releasing as part of an ongoing “Idols Become Rivals” series, featuring colorways inspired by athletes who grew up idolizing Michael Jordan before facing off against him in the NBA. The series also includes the recently released “Lakers” Air Jordan 4 paying homage to Kobe Bryant, as well as an upcoming “Knicks” Air Jordan 8 for Quentin Richardson and “Suns” Air Jordan 5 for Shawn Marion.

The Air Jordan 12 “Bucks” is currently expected to release September 19th on SNKRS and at select retailers. Grab a first look below and stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates.
