Original Story (03/05/21): As Jordan Brand continues to prepare for the Holiday 2021 season, there comes another addition to the lineup, a new suede-toe edition of the classic Air Jordan 12 “Taxi.”
The shoe will follow a Metallic Gold, black and white color scheme for a classy revival of the ’97 colorway. While the colorway has seen a couple retros over the years, this time the shoe’s white leather upper will be paired with a black suede mudguard. Gold eyelets are back, though now accompanied by extra hits of gold on the midsole, tongue and heel tab. The black suede update and extra gold details draws comparisons to 2017’s “Royalty” Air Jordan 4.
Expect this new take on the Air Jordan 12 “Taxi” to arrive October 9th for a price of $190 USD. Stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for official photos to come.
