Air Jordan 14 “Black/University Blue” Returns for 20th Anniversary

Original Story (05/20/25): We’re about halfway through the Air Jordan 40th anniversary, a year filled with special retro releases to celebrate the momentous milestone. The drops won’t stop at the end of 2025, as the 2026 release calendar is already shaping up to be just as strong.

As first reported by Sneaker Market RO, the Air Jordan 14 “Black/University Blue” from 2006 is making its return in 2026 for its first ever retro release, just in time for its 20th anniversary. This colorway of the Ferrari-inspired model features a black suede upper with UNC Blue accents, nodding to Michael Jordan’s alma mater, the University of North Carolina.

The Air Jordan 14 “Black/University Blue” is slated to drop Spring 2026 on SNKRS and at select retailers in men’s and grade school sizing. Check out the original 2006 pair below and stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates.
