Jordan Brand is dropping a new “Flight Club” colorway of the Air Jordan 4 inspired by their fan membership program from the late ’80s and early ’90s.
Before the rise of the internet, companies would often have mail-in fan clubs and membership programs so that they could keep their customers up to date with the latest brand news and offer them exclusive merch. Nike had one for Michael Jordan called the Air Jordan Flight Club, which cost $15 (plus $2 postage and handling) and included goodies such as an official club membership card, a limited edition t-shirt, posters and autographed pictures of MJ, and more.

The design of the upcoming “Flight Club” Air Jordan 4 leans into the nostalgia of the AJFC, adorned with a vintage-inspired off-white leather upper and Air Jordan Flight Club logos on the tongue tags. Additional features include a suede toe overlay with decorative stitching, black accents on the lace locks and midsoles, and OG Nike Air branding on the heel as an homage to the original Jordan era.
The Air Jordan 4 “Flight Club” drops January 17th on SNKRS and at select retailers such as Sole Play. They will be available in full family sizing. Check them out below.
