Air Jordan 7 "Miro" Makes a Comeback for Summer 2026

Limited to roughly 1,000 pairs upon its ’08 release, the rare Air Jordan 7 “Miro” pair is returning to the spotlight, a highly anticipated retro revival merging the world of art and sport.

Named after Spanish painter and sculptor Joan Miró, the pair draws inspiration from Dona i Ocell, also known as Woman and Bird, a famous sculpture located in Barcelona created by Miró. It was originally released ahead of the 2008 Beijing Olympics as a nod to Michael Jordan’s historic run with the Dream Team at the 1992 Barcelona Games, where he wore the “Olympic” Air Jordan 7 colorway.

Featuring fresh white leather overlays and black nubuck underlays, the shoe comes splashed with primary colors pulled directly from the Dona i Ocell statue. The pair also includes details tied to the 1992 games, including MJ’s number 9 on the heel, a gold embroidered Jumpman on the ankle collar, and Olympic-inspired flag graphics on the translucent outsole.

As first reported by Sneaker Files and zSneakerHeadz, the Air Jordan 7 “Miro” is set to return on June 27th. Expect these to be limited, available on SNKRS and at select retailers. Check out the original 2008 pair below and stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for first looks at the 2026 retro.
