AlphaTheta is officially expanding beyond the booth and into the wardrobe. The DJ technology powerhouse has announced its first-ever apparel release: the “One Through Music” capsule collection. The two-part lineup is rooted in the brand’s core mission of connecting people through music.
Founded in 1994 as a division of Pioneer Corporation and now headquartered in Tokyo, AlphaTheta has played a pivotal role in shaping global DJ culture through its Pioneer DJ legacy. In 2015, the company became independent as Pioneer DJ Corporation, and in 2020, it rebranded as AlphaTheta to expand into new business areas beyond DJ technology. Guided by its mission, “One Through Music,” the brand connects people worldwide through innovative audio products, software, and experiences.
AlphaTheta is now translating that same ethos into lifestyle wear. The collection blends music nostalgia with modern design, offering pieces that move seamlessly from a cozy night in to a night filled with DJ sets and spinning decks.
At the center of the capsule is “The Record Man,” a playful character carrying his stack of vinyl, an homage to crate digging, record store culture, and the ritual of building a DJ set. The motif appears across standout pieces, including a black short-sleeve tee and a cream crewneck sweatshirt. Rounding out the capsule are statement outerwear pieces that nod directly to DJ culture, including a black coach’s jacket and a bomber jacket featuring a turntable graphic alongside a cap stamped with AlphaTheta’s “One Through Music” mantra. Together, the capsule leans into heritage while keeping silhouettes wearable and contemporary.
In addition to the capsule, AlphaTheta is also introducing a core lineup of everyday essentials. A black hoodie, a tee, and sweatpants set finished with minimal AlphaTheta branding. Designed with comfort and versatility in mind, the staples serve as an entry point into the brand’s new lifestyle category.
