Seoul-based studio Andersson Bell is teaming up with ASICS to release three colorways of the HN2-S PROTOBLAST. This is the ASICS Sportstyle silhouette that was introduced earlier this year designed in partnership with Kiko Kostadinov Studio.
The design inspiration for these three colorways come from three iconic films from the Andersson Bell team’s youth that left a lasting impression on the team. The Butter/Chocolate Brown colorway is inspired by Indiana Jones, specifically the ancient temple located deep in the jungle. The Black/Graphite Gray colorway is inspired by the Batmobile from Batman, while the Smoke Gray/Seagrass pair was inspired by Jaws. The campaign imagery showcases heavily stylized versions of the three colorways to better visualize the inspiration.
The Andersson Bell x ASICS PROTOBLAST will be available globally via a 2-hour raffle on the Andersson Bell website that opens on Friday, May 27th at 10am KST (8pm Thursday Chicago time). Check out all three colorways and their accompanying campaign imagery below.
