LA-based designer Anwar Carrots reunites with K-Swiss for Drop 3 of their K-Swiss Racquet Club (KSRC) premium line, reimagining K-Swiss’ most celebrated silhouettes alongside entirely new creations through Anwar’s lens as Creative Director.
Building on the collection’s second drop, the third installment features fives styles dressed in earthy, autumnal hues. The KSRC GSTADD, a modern take on the heritage style originally released in 1986, is introduced in two colorways, gold and brown. Meanwhile, three distinct KSRC styles return in new colorways, including the KSRC Before the Classic in velvet brown, the KSRC Konejo in nugget gold, and the KSCR Classic 66 in deep green.
Anwar reflects on the personal memories that shaped KSRC:
“I had to take it back — I placed my mind in 1998, back to being 8 years old in Orlando, Florida. My dad used to rock K-Swiss heavy, and the way he’d coordinate his outfits with a fresh white pair was always clean to me. That memory is what shaped this collection.”
