London-based luxury streetwear brand Aries is reuniting with Salomon for a follow-up to their Snowclog collaboration, this time teaming up on two colorways of the XT-Whisper, described as “a dive into ’80s and ’90s running culture with a subversive, technological twist.”
The XT-Whisper Aries Arise combines vintage-look leather and suede with technical materials, gradients and metallic foiling for a bold edition of a legendary trail shoe that feels familiar yet fearlessly unique. Arriving in vibrant “Fiery Red” and “Black” colorways, both pairs feature weathered overlays contrasted with glossy, metallic, neon details to embrace nostalgia for the past while reveling in the tech of today. Heir to an XT design lineage, the sneaker stays true to Salomon DNA with a reinforced chassis for added stability.
The accompanying campaign backdrops the pack against a sunset, forest, and even inside a pool — drenching the pairs and showcasing their versatility and durability for any terrain.
