Timberland’s iconic 6-inch waterproof boot has become a muse for the streetwear industry, with brands like Supreme and One Block Down putting their own spin on the classic footwear staple. Avirex is now joining Timberland’s long list of collaborators, bringing its own NYC energy and luxury outerwear expertise to the fold.
The duo’s 6-inch boot stays true to the classic wheat hue, leaving the true transformation to its croc-embossed collar and a tumbled leather upper that transitions to smooth nubuck at the toe. Custom branding includes an Avirex “A” logo emblem and a stamped Avirex wordmark on the heel of the midsole, while lace options include bold orange and traditional two-tone brown and yellow.
An Avirex x Timberland yellow leather jacket is dropping alongside the boot pair, with matching croc embossing on the collar and co-branding on the back. A red croc version of the boot and jacket was also made for friends and family, limited to ten units each.
The collection’s campaign features rapper Freddie Gibbs and producer The Alchemist, each rocking the collaborative pieces, fresh off the release of their latest collaborative studio album, Alfredo 2.
