Original Story (05/05/25): Following the reveal of the “Arctic Pink” colorway, we now have a look at another upcoming Awake NY x Air Jordan 5.
First revealed by 14-year-old Aiden “Bobo” Williams, this Awake AJ5 comes dressed in a Black/Racer Blue color scheme. Besides the color swap, these come with all of the same features as the pink colorway, including the “A” logo cutout over the side panel netting, contrast stitching (this time in white), “23” and “NY” embroidery on the lateral heels, and an icy outsole with Awake NY branding.

Update (08/08/25): Release details for the Awake NY x Air Jordan 5 have been announced. Both colorways will be available via in-store and online EQL raffle on August 17th. The “Bubblegum” version will be Awake NY exclusive and limited to 7,000 pairs. Meanwhile, the “Black/Racer Blue” colorway will be limited to 13,000 pairs and will receive a wider release via SNKRS on August 30th. Check out the official images below.
