Awake NY x Air Jordan 5 “Arctic Pink DV4982-600 Release Date

Original Story (02/24/25): Awake NY has shared a first look at its upcoming Air Jordan 5 collaboration.

A teaser image for the brand’s upcoming Spring 2025 collection features a model wearing a pink leather Awake NY jacket, paired with a matching pair of Awake NY x Air Jordan 5 sneakers on-feet. The shoe draws inspiration from the OG “Fire Red” colorway, replacing the white leather uppers with pink, while keeping some of the design cues of the 1990 original, such as the reflective silver tongue, black midsole, and red sockliner.

The stand-out special feature is Awake’s signature “A” logo placed over the netting of the lateral side panels. “NY” branding is also embroidered on the lateral heel of the right shoe, replacing the original “23.”

Update (05/29/25): Officially called “Bubblegum,” this colorway is limited to just 7,000 pairs, with “0001/7000” numbering embroidered on the inner tongue. Stay tuned for more on this release as well as on the Black/Racer Blue colorway.

Update (08/08/25): Release details for the Awake NY x Air Jordan 5 have been announced. Both colorways will be available via in-store and online EQL raffle on August 17th. The “Bubblegum” version will be Awake NY exclusive and limited to 7,000 pairs. Meanwhile, the “Black/Racer Blue” colorway will be limited to 13,000 pairs and will receive a wider release via SNKRS on August 30th.
