Awake NY has released its Spring 2026 lookbook, offering a first look at the streetwear label’s latest seasonal direction. Alongside the apparel, the brand officially previews its anticipated Jordan Brand collaboration centered around the Air Jordan 6.
After months of speculation about Awake NY’s rumored follow-up to the Air Jordan 5, the collaboration is now confirmed. The reveal arrives as the AJ6 continues its 35th anniversary cycle, with Awake NY introducing a distinct take on the iconic silhouette.
Few silhouettes carry the narrative gravity of the Air Jordan 6. Debuting in 1991, at the start of Michael Jordan’s championship era, the shoe signaled a confident evolution in Tinker Hatfield’s design language, merging technical innovation with a sharper, more sculptural aesthetic. Its legacy continues to resonate across sport, streetwear, and fashion, reinforcing why collaborations on the AJ6 consistently command attention.
The standout AJ6 in “Midnight Navy” plays with layered contrast, pairing saturated royal-blue suede with softer light-blue accents. Midnight Navy frames the rear section, wrapping the heel and collar, while Infrared 23 stitching cuts sharply across the upper. Awake NY’s ornate “A” logo marks the collaboration, complemented by a black-and-infrared midsole and a clear outsole. The AJ6 collaboration doesn’t stop there; although not yet previewed, Awake NY is also expected to drop a second pink colorway along with this pair.
In the lookbook, select outfits are styled with the Air Jordan 6 “Infrared Salesman,” connecting the collaboration to Jordan Brand’s broader AJ6 narrative for the year.
