Back-to-school season is a time to make a new first impression, to show your colleagues how much you’ve grown over summer. It’s a time to get your best fits off and set the tone for the rest of the year. As a product of an NYC high school, Angelo Baque of Awake NY knows this well.
Baque’s latest collection with Tommy Jeans is all about back-to-school style as seen through a nostalgic ’90s NYC hip-hop lens. Highlights among the 17-piece collection include the NYC skyline reverse puffer jacket, as well as the daisy-print polar fleece sweatshirt, and the women’s dress and knit top.
This collaboration marks the second between Tommy and Awake, following the release of their project with Mercedes-AMG F1 earlier this year to celebrate the Miami Grand Prix.
