Multi-platinum recording artist Bad Bunny and adidas Originals are marking the fifth year of their creative partnership with the Adizero SL 72 in a “Nostalgic Trio” colorway, paying homage to the historic collaboration that continues to intersect sports, music, and culture.
The celebratory sneaker incorporates elements from three iconic colorways of the Puerto Rican superstar’s first adidas shoe, the Forum Buckle Low:
- “The First Café” – originally released in March 2021, dressed in brown to represent Benito’s cultural love for coffee and its contribution to his daily routine.
- “Easter Egg Pink” – a colorway from April 2021, celebrating creative freedom in seasonal hues.
- “Baby Blue“- released in August 2022 as a tribute to Bad Bunny’s ability to bring La Isla’s spirit worldwide.
Featuring a textile and leather upper, the latest Bad Bunny SL 72 pulls brown, pink, and blue hues from these releases, accompanied by metallic accents and “Para Bad Bunny” branding in gold foil. The shoe highlights Bad Bunny’s years-long partnership with adidas and his artistic evolution within both fashion and music worlds. The nostalgic design marks the singer’s unmatched ability to blend past, present, and future.
This project marks the fourth iteration of the Adizero SL 72 style from the Bad Bunny x adidas partnership. Benito first added the hybrid silhouette to his adidas lineup late last year in three colorways: “Active”, “Comfort”, and High Fashion.”
