Bad Bunny and adidas just suprise released the artist’s first-ever signature shoe right after he made history at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards as the first Latin artist to win Album of the Year.
The Puerto Rican artist, now a 6x-GRAMMY winner, has been collaborating with adidas since 2021, and he actually teased the BadBo 1.0 in his BOKeTE music video back in April 2025.
The BadBo 1.0 draws on Bad Bunny’s own journey and his refusal to be defined by a single label; the shoe embodies the freedom of choice.
The shoe itself is made from premium materials, including nubuck and hairy teasel suede uppers. It has a translucent rubber outsole and an EVA midsole, an innovative design that is not only for performance but also for self-expression.
The bold construction pushes the adidas aesthetic forward while remaining grounded in athletic heritage. It comes on a white base with a two-shade brown colorway, and pops of blue are used for details such as labeling and the number 1994 on the heel — the year Bad Bunny was born, and also the number of pairs that will be sold — and each pair will be individually numbered. Another detail on the shoe is the “adidas para Bad Bunny” text on the insole and the stitched tongue tag, which has been featured on other Bad Bunny x adidas collabs.
El Conejo Malo is already booked and busy this month, and with his Super Bowl halftime performance landing the same week as the release, fans are speculating whether the BadBo 1.0 might take an on-stage appearance.
The Bad Bunny x adidas BadBo 1.0 “Brown” released as a shock drop on February 2nd, the morning following the GRAMMYs, on a dedicated website and is already sold out. Check out the debut colorway below and expect more colorways to drop real soon.
