Bad Bunny is back with not one, but three new colorways of his adidas Gazelle Indoor collaboration.
Introducing the Gazelle “City Series,” Bad Bunny’s love letter to his homeland featuring three colorways that bring global recognition to Puerto Rico’s diverse landscapes and culture. After dropping the “San Juan” colorway last year, Benito now highlights three lesser known areas of the island: Cabo Rojo, Santurce, and El Yunque.
Cabo Rojo is represented with a pink colorway, inspired by its famous salt flats and the rare phenomenon of pink waters caused by salt-loving microorganisms. Despite the lingering effects of Hurricane Maria, Cabo Rojo remains one of the island’s ecological treasures.
The “Santurce” colorway comes in vivid orange, reflecting the vibrant energy of Puerto Rico’s epicenter of art, music, and dance. Bad Bunny debuted this colorway earlier this year in his photoshoot for Vogue Mexico.
Rounding out the pack is the “El Yunque” Gazelle, a green colorway representing El Yunque National Forest, the only tropical rainforest within the U.S. National Forest System.
To preserve the authenticity of the tribute, select colorways from the Gazelle City Series will be available exclusively to residents of Puerto Rico. “Santurce” and “El Yunque” will be available exclusively at Bad Bunny’s “No me quiero ir de aquí” residency at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico on July 11th.
