Chicago-based visual artist Louis De Guzman is collaborating with BAPE on a collection that includes footwear, apparel, and more.
Widely known for his sculpture work, the Filipino-American artist brings his geometric abstraction style and distinct color palette to BAPE’s streetwear silhouettes. A packable jacket features LDG’s take on BAPE’s iconic ABC CAMO, dressed primarily in grey hues with pops of pink, blue, red, purple, and aqua. The crewneck sweater takes this camo print and magnifies it, while the tees feature iconic BAPE logos such as the APE HEAD, the STA star, and BABY MILO. Accessories include a mesh cap and camo sports towel.
Louis De Guzman also offers his own take on the BAPE ROADSTA silhouette, dressing the shoe primarily in grey and revamping the STA logos on the sides with his signature geometric shards. The final piece of the collection is a hyper-limited BABY MILO figure, to be released in an edition of 300 pieces.
The BAPE x Louis De Guzman collection will be available starting Saturday, November 19th on LouisDeGuzman.com, BAPE.com, US.BAPE.com, and at A BATHING APE authorized stores. Check out the lookbook photos below.
