A BATHING APE has teamed up with legendary sportswear brand Mitchell & Ness for a capsule celebrating the 2025 NBA China Games, which featured the preseason matchup between the Brooklyn Nets and Phoenix Suns in Macau this past October. Expanding beyond the featured teams, the collection also pays homage to two storied franchises with deep ties to BAPE’s legacy — the Los Angeles Lakers and New York Knicks — culminating in a curated offering representing four iconic NBA teams.
Following their last collaboration in 2022, the new BAPE x Mitchell & Ness x NBA lineup features jerseys and shorts crafted in the authentic Swingman style with details that mirror official team uniforms. BAPE’s signature CAMO pattern is thoughtfully rendered in the respective team colors, complemented by exclusive graphics and patches that seamlessly merge the team logos with the iconic APE HEAD.
The capsule also includes tees and satin NBA jackets, each crafted in team colors and emblazoned with the number 93 on the back as a nod to BAPE’s founding year. The T-shirts arrive in two colorways per team: Lakers in yellow and purple, Nets in black and white, Suns in purple and black, and Knicks in blue and white.
