BAPE and Vans are reuniting for a new footwear collection featuring the Old Skool and Sk8-Mid.
After first teaming up in 2021 and then again in 2022, BAPE and Vans are back with a third collab for Summer 2024. The collection’s Old Skool features an asymmetrical color scheme, with green camo print on the left side of each shoe, plus blue camo on the medial of the left shoe and pink camo on the lateral of the right shoe. The green side panels feature the traditional Vans side stripe, while the blue and pink sides come with BAPE’s star-shaped STA logo. Additionally, the rubber toe cap features a shark tooth motif, referencing BAPE’s iconic full-zip SHARK HOODIE.
The Sk8-Mid comes green camo on all side panels, though there is still asymmetry with the Vans side stripe on the left and the STA logo on the right side panels. Both the Old Skool and Sk8-Mid come with “OFF THE WALL” and “A BATHING APE” text on the toes boxes, green CAMO on the tongue tags and outsoles, white-on-white A BATHING APE branding on the midsoles, and metallic APE HEAD dubraes on the laces.
The BAPE x Vans Summer 2024 collection drops July 27th on BAPE.com, Vans.com, at A BATHING APE stores, and at select Vans retailers. Check out both pairs and the lookbook photos below.
