Japanese fashion retailer BEAMS has partnered with French outdoor footwear brand Salomon for a futuristic take of the XT-Whisper.
This special edition sneaker brings a cyber-inspired twist to the XT-Whisper, a silhouette from Salomon’s iconic XT trail running series that the brand reintroduced late last year. The shoe comes dressed in a purple gradient with glossy materials and asymmetrical color blocking, designed to mimic the glow of electronic devices. Co-branded logos are displayed asymmetrically on the tongue, heel, and insole, continuing the tech-inspired look.
Technical features include a durable mesh upper and Salomon’s signature Quicklace, Sensifit, and Agile Chassis System technologies, providing comfort, stability, and a utilitarian edge.
The BEAMS x Salomon XT-Whisper is available now at beams-america.com in the Americas and at select BEAMS stores in Japan. Salomon will also be dropping pairs on October 9th at midnight ET on their website. Take a closer look below.
