adidas Originals is celebrating the legacy of reggae legend Bob Marley with the launch of his own shoe, the Bob Marley SL 72.
In his lifetime, Bob Marley was a big fan of the Three Stripes and would often be seen wearing adidas footwear and apparel. In his rotation was the SL 72, a silhouette originally crafted for road running that has now transcended into all facets of culture, including music and fashion.
The Bob Marley SL 72 features an all black nylon upper with suede and leather accents that sits atop a rasta-themed yellow, green, and red midsole. Each pair also features Bob Marley’s portrait on the tongue labels, co-branded insoles, and the artist’s signature in gold foil on the lateral heel.
