Brain Dead is once again dipping into the adidas archives, and this time Disney is coming along for the ride. The latest three-way collaboration blends vintage football aesthetics, classic Disney nostalgia, and Brain Dead’s signature subcultural energy into a collection that feels equally at home on the pitch and on the street.
At the center of the release is a reworked version of one of adidas’ most legendary silhouettes: the Predator. Originally introduced in 1994 as a game-changing football boot, the iconic design has been transformed into a lifestyle sneaker while preserving many of the details that made the original so recognizable.
The Brain Dead x Disney x adidas Predator arrives in a mid-cut construction featuring the model’s distinctive textured rubber overlays across the upper. Rather than recreating the performance boot outright, the trio has adapted it for everyday wear with a rugged rubber outsole and premium leather build. One of the standout design elements is the interchangeable fold-over tongue system, allowing wearers to switch between faux crocodile leather and glossy patent leather finishes depending on their mood. Included with the sneaker are vintage-inspired character pins that can be attached to the perforated tongue, bringing a playful Disney touch to the archival football silhouette. Additional details include Mickey Mouse and Brain Dead-branded keychains that hang from the shoe, reinforcing the collaborative nature of the project.
Beyond footwear, the collection expands into a full range of apparel inspired by the ’90s football kits of Mexico, USA, Jamaica, and France. Matching jerseys and shorts arrive in three distinct color palettes: Bold Gold, Victory Blue, and Chalk White. The jerseys feature collaborative branding from Disney and Brain Dead alongside character artwork incorporated into the sleeves. Matching shorts continue the character-driven motifs, while a pair of white socks introduces embroidered Disney iconography that complements the kits.
Several standalone pieces round out the offering, including a Donald Duck graphic tee, crinkled nylon shorts, a track jacket adorned with character patches, a long-sleeve jersey featuring Goofy, and a football scarf that further leans into the collection’s stadium-inspired aesthetic.
