Cactus Plant Flea Market has teamed up with Tremaine Emory’s Denim Tears brand for a new collaborative apparel collection.
The two streetwear brands have collaborated multiple times before, though this marks their first full collection together. A mash-up of design languages, the collection features Denim Tear’s famous “Cotton Wreath” sweatsuit in various colorways, remixed in CPFM’s signature illustration style. Other motifs include silhouettes of the USA and Africa layered atop each other, the phrase “another country,” and the return of the CPFM smiley face wearing the Pan-African American durag, first debuted by Denim Tears and CPFM in 2020.
Cactus Plant Flea Market x Denim Tears “Cactus Tears” collection drops Friday, November 1st on the Denim Tears website (11am ET), in-store at African Diaspora Goods in NYC, and at select Dover Street Market locations. Check out the campaign film and lookbook shots below.
