Original Story (07/31/25): Cactus Plant Flea Market and Nike are back with a new collaboration: the Swamp Sponge Dunk.
CPFM doesn’t do ordinary. Every Nike collab conceived by Cynthia Lu and her hip street fashion label have pushed the limits of creative design, from the coveted Swarovski crystal-covered Dunks to the Grinch-like Air Flea 1.
The Swamp Sponge Dunk Low revisits the wacky design language of a previous CPFM x Nike collab, the Blazer Sponge By You, bringing back the mixed-material patchwork uppers and thick exposed foam edges of the 2019 project.
The shoe will be offered in three colorways, each one crazier than the next. The “Sequoia” is the most lowkey of the trio, covered entirely in an olive hue, though still head turning with its bright lace options. The second colorway most closely resembles the Sponge Blazers, dressed primarily in wheat tones with pops of purple, blue, and gold on the overlays. The final colorway goes all out, combining pink, green, olive, red, black, orange, and blue across the panels of the mismatched pair.
The CPFM Sponge Dunk was first unveiled by Travis Scott during Nike’s Toma El Juego soccer tournament in Los Angeles, where he was spotted wearing a mismatched pair featuring black mesh bases, toe overlays in two different green hues, and hits of orange on the eyestays and Swooshes. This colorway is not one of the three releasing, and likely a 1-of-1 exclusively for La Flame.
