While Caitlin Clark’s signature shoe has yet to be unveiled, the WNBA star is joining Nike for another Kobe 5 Protro PE colorway, dubbed “Rookie of the Year.”
Clark was unanimously named the WNBA’s Rookie of the Year in 2024 and she first debuted her “Rookie of the Year” PEs last year during a matchup against the Chicago Sky. The two-toned pair is dressed in a shiny silver metallic upper inspired by the ROTY trophy and salutes the Indiana Fever’s colors with red accents on the tongue, Swooshes, outsole, heel, and laces. A personalized Kobe PE logo is displayed on the tongue.
The Fever guard first began channeling her Mamba Mentality with a navy Kobe 5 “Indiana Fever” PE released last June, followed by a “Light Armory Blue” Kobe 6 PE that released last November.
