The Chicago Bulls and the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago have unveiled a new collection designed by Chicago-based contemporary artist Cody Hudson, providing basketball fans and art enthusiasts alike with a fresh way to rep their Bulls pride.
Reflecting the unique art and sport landscape of the Windy City, the collection includes an all-over print hoodie ($120), logo crewneck sweatshirt ($100), snapback hat ($45), art poster ($60), and sticker pack ($15), all adorned with Cody’s signature abstract style. Local art gallery and print studio All Star Press also assisted in the selection and creative process.
“My goal was to find a natural way to merge art and sport,” says Hudson. “The designs in the collection are my reworking of the classic Bulls logo through my abstracted cut paper style. I really wanted to represent the city in a bold, colorful way using my language of shapes to rework a classic icon people are familiar with.”
Hudson is part of both the MCA and Bulls families, having exhibited at the MCA in 2007 and also collaborated with the Bulls during the 2023-24 season as part of their BMO Artist Hat Series.

This collaboration is the Bulls’ latest in a series of art-based initiatives that demonstrate the team’s commitment to connecting with fans in ways that extend beyond the basketball court. Previous initiatives include the refurbishment and painting of basketball courts in Little Village, designed by Mexican artist Roco Drilo, and the annual “Art Of The Game” exhibition at Bulls Fest.
The Chicago Bulls x MCA collection by Cody Hudson will be available starting August 23rd at the United Center’s Madhouse Team Store and at the MCA Chicago Store, as well as online at shop.bulls.com and mcachicagostore.org. Check out video below to learn more and the preview images.
