adidas Basketball found major success with the AE 1, but with Anthony Edwards’ next signature on the horizon, it’s time to close out the chapter on his first model. To mark the moment, adidas has teamed up with CLOT on one last, ultra-exclusive send-off: the AE 1 Low “Blue Reign.”
Designed by CLOT founder Edison Chen, the CLOT Anthony Edwards 1 Low “Blue Reign” features a blue flame design across the upper to match Ant’s heat on the court and to reflect his fearless, attack-first mentality. The flames also reference the “on fire” power-up from ’90s arcade hoops classic NBA Jam.
This special edition colorway of the Anthony Edwards 1 Low is Friends and Family exclusive and will not be releasing to the general public. However, if you’re located around China, there may be a way to get your hands on a pair. Edison Chen has teased a drop at MOJOFEST, going down August 22-24 in Shanghai. Pairs will also be available at JUICE STORE Causeway Bay in Hong Kong, where they will be hosting a limited-time arcade basketball challenge from August 26-31 for a chance to win a pair of this highly collectible sneaker.
