Two globally recognizable brands are linking back up for a new collaboration. Coca-Cola and adidas Originals are teaming up once again, revisiting a partnership that first began with their 2002 FIFA World Cup collaboration. The timing couldn’t be more obvious. Soccer’s biggest stage returns to North America this summer, with one of the host cities being Atlanta, where Coca-Cola’s global HQ is located. The collection taps into that shared connection to football culture while celebrating the legacy of two brands with deep roots in the sport.
The footwear is where things get really interesting. Five silhouettes get the Coca-Cola treatment, and each one is doing something different with the reference. The Samba OG comes in two versions: a clean white leather build with a co-branded tongue and red laces that reads almost restrained, and then a full red jacquard version covered head-to-toe in repeat Coca-Cola script that is anything but. The Superstar II shows up in both a blacked-out colorway with a translucent mint outsole and a cream leather version where the “Enjoy Coca-Cola” script is printed big across the lateral. The Adistar Control 5 pulls from the classic red can, while the silver Predator Sala is inspired by Diet Coke, both featuring that bubbling droplet texture across the upper. And then there’s the Megaride F50, which goes the other direction entirely — white and silver with Coca-Cola bottle green accents, a nod to the glass bottle era.
The apparel tells two stories at once. Half the collection is unapologetically loud, like the mash-up jerseys and the red shorts with large Coca-Cola branding across the front. The other half pulls back: denim track pants and tops with zip-off legs and sleeves, muted tones, and subtle co-branding, the kind of pieces that could easily pass as vintage if you didn’t know better. Women’s pieces such as cropped jerseys, flared pants with red side-stripe detailing, and a matching top round out the collab.
The collection is brought to life with a campaign dubbed “Originals are the Real Thing,” headlined by Lamine Yamal. Shot on a hot summer’s day, the visuals follow a group of characters as they wait for their bus to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
