COMME des GARÇONS SHIRT has linked up with ASICS to drop two colorways of the TARTHER for Spring 2021. The CDG sublabel gives the updated 1983 sneaker model a high-end remix, first previewed in early August.
The CDG SHIRT x ASICS TARTHER is offered in vibrant blue and brilliant purple. Each come with white mesh toe boxes and swathes of white and black leather running throughout the upper. An arched midsole comes in a clean white with a bright green rubber outsole on the bottom of the forefoot that wraps up slightly onto the toe box. Gold accents add to the design with the TARTHER model name on the lateral heel along with the ASICS logo on the tongues and the GEL tag on the heel. The slightest touches of gold speckling are visible on the colored portions of the uppers. White laces and linings round out the retro sneaker styling that ASICS is respected for and CdG has brought their refined taste to.
The COMME des GARÇONS SHIRT x ASICS TARTHER is available now on the CdG website and at select retailers like Offspring. Pairs are priced at $290 USD.
