Vans and COMME des GARÇONS are linking up to release a collaborative CDG x Vans Old Skool in limited quantities.
CDG is using one of Vans highly renowned models, the Old Skool, in one of its best selling colors for the collaboration. The shoe is a clean and straightforward collaboration between the American skate powerhouse and the Japanese design stalwart. The black canvas upper has white laces and matching white Jazz stripe. A stark white lining replaces the traditional black lining this colorway usually has. The classic CDG logo dating back to 1995 wraps around the outsole in black on the white thick platform sole. The rubberized toe cap cuts off the CDG motif before picking it back up on the inside area of the sole.
The CDG x Vans Old Skool will release on February 5th exclusively at all 12 CDG stores and online at cdgcdgcdg.com. Check out the shoe in the photos below. In related news, COMME des GARCONS’ has recently revealed collaborations with Nike, New Balance, and KAWS as part of its Paris Fashion Week shows.
