NBA MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has unveiled the next chapter of his signature Converse SHAI 001 basketball shoe, a luxurious “Truffle” colorway, making its debut ahead of NBA All-Star Weekend.
The Oklahoma City Thunder guard debuted the all-over brown colorway over the weekend, featuring premium grain nubuck construction, debossed logos on the tongues, and gold foil branding on the footbeds. Shai’s tunnel fit also included a white Supreme tee, baggy jeans, and a long leopard-print statement fur coat—likely a nod to the famous Kate Moss Supreme box logo tee.
To celebrate the release of the luxury “Truffle” SHAI 001, Converse will host a SHAI Lounge on February 14th during All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles at 8580 Sunset Blvd from 12pm to 8pm. Special performances include Osamason, BabyChiefDoIt, Ty Hues, Lelo, and Anthony Osei. Additionally, a limited tee designed by 12:01AM and truffle-infused light bites will be available.
The Converse SHAI 001 Lux “Truffle” will be available in Los Angeles on February 14th at UNDEFEATED La Brea and the SHAI Lounge pop-up, as well as at the Foot Locker Takeover at L.A. Live on February 15th. A limited global release is set for February 26th on SNKRS. Check out the pair below.
