Crenshaw Skate Club adds another major collaboration to its catalog, teaming up with Vans Skate for the first time on two iterations of the Vans Half Cab.
Following its apparel drop in March and a recent link-up with Nike Sportswear in February, CSC fans will be elated to finally see a shoe drop from the brand this year. Two shoes to be exact. Both colorways share the same full-grain leather construction but diverge sharply in execution, with uppers designed to wear away over time, revealing hidden pops of color through repeated skate sessions.
The first colorway leans into the red, green, and black of the Pan-African flag, featuring a custom RGB camo pattern applied across the insoles, laces, and even the packaging. Red contrast stitching and green leather edge painting add depth to the all-black upper, while the mismatched outsoles—red on the left and green on the right—make the color story impossible to miss.
The second pair takes a more understated approach. A palette of cream, mint green, and maroon—drawn from the Crenshaw Square sign—defines the look. The premium leather upper remains clean, with mint green and maroon accents working through the stitching, branding, and trim. Mint green carries most of the visual weight, appearing on the midsole border and logos, while maroon is reserved primarily for the collar.
Founded to represent Black skaters in Los Angeles and amplify voices from South Central, Crenshaw Skate Club continues to expand its reach while staying rooted in its original mission.
