LEGO and Daft Punk Announce Partnership

An Alive 2007 tour stage set is currently in development.

LEGO and Daft Punk are officially joining forces, bringing the French electronic duo’s iconic robot personas into the brick-built universe. The new partnership will span products, content, and brand experiences, with the first major milestone coming from the LEGO Ideas community: a fan-designed set recreating Daft Punk’s legendary Alive 2007 tour stage has been approved to move forward into development.

To kick things off, The LEGO Group and Daft Punk have released a cinematic teaser featuring the duo’s minifigures navigating a mysterious landscape, following a holographic red LEGO brick into a world of unfolding, brick-built architecture. Set to “Voyager” from 2001’s Discovery and “Human After All,” the title track from their 2005 album, the film brings together two cultural forces known for their distinctive visual identities and creative legacies.

The announcement also traces the collaboration back to LEGO Ideas, where Luxembourg-based father-and-son duo Patrick Harboun’s Daft Punk concert model first won the Grand Prize in the 2020 Music to Our Ears challenge before reaching 10,000 supporters on the platform. Inspired by the pyramid-shaped stage from the duo’s 2007 Alive tour, the fan creation will now enter the next stage of development as an official LEGO set. The design shown below is a fan model and does not represent the final product.

“The pyramid stage is one of the most recognisable expressions of Daft Punk’s visual world, so it feels fitting that this fan-created design will be centre stage of this partnership,” says Cédric Hervet, Creative Director for Daft Punk. “Fans have always played an important part in Daft Punk’s story, and we are excited to see that creativity reflected through the LEGO universe.”

Beyond the concert set, the partnership promises additional products, experiences, and content throughout the LEGO universe, giving fans new ways to engage with Daft Punk’s world through building and play. Specific details on future releases have yet to be announced, but both brands have confirmed that more is coming in 2027.

For Daft Punk, whose influence stretches across music, fashion, design, and visual culture, the collaboration offers another way to extend the legacy of their instantly recognizable robot personas. For LEGO, it brings one of electronic music’s most celebrated acts into a world built around imagination and creative expression.
