New Balance has teamed up with the official seed of baseball and softball, David Sunflower Seeds, to create a collection of footwear and apparel with authentic baseball aesthetic.
Included is the Fresh Foam 3000v5, offered in turf and cleat styles. Both offerings are constructed with signature Fresh Foam midsole cushioning, ensuring lightweight comfort on the field. They come dressed in David’s signature color-scheme of blue, red, yellow, and white, with sock liners and insoles featuring sunflower seed graphic. The two brands display their trademark through David Sunflower Seeds yellow sun logo on the tongue and the classic New Balance N insignia on the side panels. The cleated versions differ in the synthetic TPU/polyester upper designed specifically for baseball movement and branded metal spikes sticking out of a blue outsole.
Also included is the lifestyle 574 with similar features, constructed of a suede and mesh upper in David’s classic sunflower seed packaging color-scheme. Each pair comes in a special-edition David Sunflower Seeds box and pouch. Besides the footwear models, the collection includes a pair of NB 200 sandals plus a tee and a hoodie.
