Original Story (03/28/25): Chicago’s hometown hero Derrick Rose threw out the first pitch at the White Sox season opener while wearing his unreleased adidas Fear of God Athletics II Basketball sneaker. Sources have confirmed to Modern Notoriety that this pair will be dropping later this year.

The Derrick Rose edition of the Fear of God Athletics II Basketball features luxurious black suede uppers with breathable monofilament side paneling in grey. The black TPU heel spoiler is adorned with Rose’s logo, and underfoot sits a cream Lightstrike midsole with a red Fear of God-branded plate on the heel.

The former NBA MVP and Bulls icon has been an integral part of the Fear of God Athletics II Basketball rollout. Rose starred in the campaign for the launch of the model last December, and continues to be a cherished member of the adidas family even after retirement.
