Disney & Champion’s NFL Collection Gives Every Team Its Own Character

The team-up nobody knew they needed just went league-wide. Disney Consumer Products, the NFL, Champion, and Fanatics have rolled out the full lineup for the Disney x Champion NFL Collection, matching every team in the league with a Disney, Pixar, Marvel, or Star Wars character inspired by each team’s energy, from its fan base to its culture.

The Disney Fan Draft at Fanatics Fest NYC brought out NFL legends to call the first round of pairings live, sports-draft style, cameras rolling. Now the back half of the board is filled in, and there are multiple tee, crewneck, and hoodie options for all 32 teams, each team having five tee options and four sweater options, including zip-ups.

Some of these pairings are almost too on-the-nose. Las Vegas Raiders fans get Darth Vader, which tracks, black, silver, and menace built in. Green Bay pulls Chewbacca, because who else is surviving Lambeau in January besides a Wookiee? Tampa Bay lands Captain Hook because a team built around a skull-and-crossbones flag deserves an actual pirate.

Others get a little more creative with the read. Philly fans are repping Doctor Doom, framed less around villainy and more around that silver-and-green intimidation factor and the character’s cape-out pose reading like a bird of prey mid-strike. Arizona’s desert energy goes to Jafar and Iago, and Denver landing Maximus makes sense the second you picture a horse that refuses to quit.

The Star Wars picks lean hardest into fandom overlap. Atlanta fans, notoriously loyal through some rough stretches, get handed the Millennium Falcon, a ship famous for barely holding together and still making the jump anyway.

“Every pairing was inspired by the qualities, traditions and fan culture that define each NFL team, as well as the shared personalities, traits and stories that connect these teams with beloved Disney, Pixar, Marvel and “Star Wars” characters,” says Bret Healey, Director of Graphic Design, Disney Consumer Products. “The result is a collection that feels authentic to fans while celebrating the passion behind both fandoms.”

The rollout lands right as the league gears up for a season already being billed by Disney and ESPN as part of a larger “Year of the Super Bowl” push, building toward ESPN’s first shot at broadcasting the Super Bowl itself in February 2027. Consider this the merch preview for a much bigger year ahead.
